Unfortunately, there are quite a bit of scams out there when it comes to working at home, and you need to make sure that you do not get taken advantage of. These are some very important suggestions that will help you to keep from wasting your time and being taken advantage of when you are seeking work from home jobs that are actually legitimate. If a typing job doesn't require you to have any experience, you should avoid it. This is usually a trap, because typing jobs will generally require you to have at least a minimal amount of experience. In general, you should avoid any paid survey jobs. They will most likely be a waste of your time, as you are not likely to make anything close to what they claim you will. Most of the time the ads will post completely over-blown claims about making $75 dollars to fill out a short survey, but think of it this way: who is going to pay that much just to fill out a survey? It's a scam, bottom line. You will have a better time finding actual legitimate jobs if you extend your search to websites such as vWorker or Elance. These sites will generally post jobs that actually pay you decently, and you can eliminate your worries about whether or not you will get paid. They take measures to make sure that people who work through their sites will always get paid for what they do, so you will be protected from all of the scammers. There are some sites like this that do cost a little bit of money to use, however it would not take long to make back your money with just a couple of good jobs. It's worth it to pay a little bit of money in order to be able to skip the scammers and get down to the real employers. Remember what your mama told you, that if it seems too good to be true, it most likely is! This is something that definitely holds true in your job search. It doesn't matter how good you are, you can't expect unrealistic pay for a job, so try to use common sense when you are considering job offers. If someone is offering to pay you an amount that seems way above what you would normally get paid for the job, this is a red flag, and you should turn the job down immediately. Don't let this deter you from searching for jobs, because there are good ones out there that will provide you with a decent full or part time income. In general, when it comes to work from home jobs you just have to be really careful and look twice before you accept anything, so protect yourself by researching your offers first.
