You need to be able to make a woman feel attracted to you. You may already know how to do this; however sometimes knowing how to do something and being able to do it are two separate things. If you are going to find any sort of success when it comes to getting a girlfriend, your first goal needs to be to overcome your shyness. Guys who are shy are at a bit of a disadvantage, as women are already a bit more social than guys to begin with. Unfortunately, in most cases the guy is the one who is expected to make the first move, and you will be at a significant disadvantage in the dating world if you are too shy to complete this task. However, it doesn't always need to be this way. There are some things that you can do to overcome your shyness when it comes to women, and you can learn how to make a good impression on them and make them feel at ease with you. This is what leads into getting a girlfriend. Here are some helpful dating tips on how to get a girlfriend: Start out by approaching women in situations where you don't have the goal of getting a date. This will help you become more comfortable with women on general. Sometimes when you know that you want to get a date with a woman, it creates added pressure. You can relieve this pressure by talking to women casually that you aren't trying to date. The goal is to become more at ease with approaching women that you do not know, so that when you do come across a woman that you are interested in dating you will have an easier time going right up to her and striking up a conversation that may later lead to a date. Body language is a more powerful flirtation tool than words. A lot of times when men are trying to flirt, they only focus on what they should say in order to get a laugh out of the woman or make her smile. That is all fine, however you may find that building attraction with a woman through body language will bring you much better results. You can often communicate your intentions or thoughts to her without saying a single word. Don't try to be smooth when you want to win over a woman. Guys try to put way too much emphasis on being smooth and saying all the right things. This isn't necessary to make a woman find you interesting. Talk to her in a way that will make her want to find out more about you. This way you won't need to know how to get a girlfriend, because they will already be calling to find out more about you!
