If you are going to be doing the Chris Hemsworth workout, you are obviously going to be doing some weight lifting. He had to put on quite a bit of muscle mass in order to take on the role of Thor. Of course you will be needing to eat a lot in order to build muscle mass, and this will include a lot of protein. But aside from all of the eating, you will want to know how to make your weight lifting workouts the most effective.

Try to include compound exercises in your workout routine. This means that you will need to do exercises that are working multiple muscle groups simultaneously. In order to be a compound exercise, there should be more than one joint moving during the exercise. Not only will these exercises burn more calories, but they use more muscle fibers and stimulate more growth. You could try including the leg or chest press, squats or the pull down. Any of these will be highly effective compound exercises.

When you are in the process of lifting weights you will want remember to focus on your form. Try not to lift by using momentum, as you want your muscles to be doing all of the work. It will be your goal to work every muscle to its maximum potential, and you can only do this if you are focusing on the muscle while you lift.

In order to keep your movements slow and controlled like they should be, you are going to have to try to eliminate the momentum. It is really important to make sure that the only thing that is lifting that weight is the muscle that you are targeting. You are not throwing the weight, you are lifting it. So think about going up for two seconds, and down for four seconds. This will help you to keep it slow like it should be.

You need to make sure that you have a sufficient rest time in between workouts. Your muscles need this time to recover after an intense routine like the Chris Hemsworth workout. Your muscles have to be broken down in order to be built back up, and when you work out you essentially break down your muscles. If you want them to grow to their maximum potential, you have to wait until they have recovered before you work out again. Your muscles should not be sore when you are about to start working out. If they are, you haven't allowed them enough time to recover from your last workout.

You should always do some light warm up sets, but be careful not to do too many sets during your workout because you need to avoid over-training. If you train too hard, it will have the opposite effect of what you are looking for. Make sure that you take the time to track your progress, as this will be the key to your success when it comes to doing a bodybuilding routine like the Chris Hemsworth workout.
