A lot of guys are currently training to get that muscular Chris Hemsworth type of physique, and of course it is going to be a lot easier for some than it is for others. Just because you have been naturally skinny all of your life doesn't mean you don't have the desire to get ripped like the other guys do! Don't worry, you can still make it happen, you are just at a bit of a disadvantage.

If you want to make it go a little bit faster though, forget about the volume of your exercises and focus more on the intensity. It is going to be more effective for you to do fewer reps with heavier weights than it would be if you lifted lighter weights for more reps. It's important for you to become aware of the fact that when you lift lower amounts of weight in high repetitions you are only working on defining your muscles, and you won't be able to add on any significant muscle mass this way. You aren't really setting out to define your muscles until later on, so try to avoid doing that right now.

Also, keep in mind that you will be better off at the moment if you can keep your focus on the compound exercises. These are the exercises that work more than one muscle group at a time, such as bench pressing or squats.

Do not neglect to allow your muscles the recovery time that they need. You may think that you are being a tough guy by working out with sore muscles, but you won't be doing yourself any favors this way. The thing is that the recovery is essential to muscle growth. Without it, your muscles aren't going to get as big as they possibly could and you are never going to achieve that Chris Hemsworth look. So with that in mind, if your muscles are still sore, wait another day before working out again. Unfortunately, skinnier guys are going to need more recovery time. But you are working out now, so you won't be a skinny guy for long!

Being skinny isn't all bad. You don't have to worry about having excess body fat. For this reason, don't put too much of your efforts into cardio workouts right now. Save your time and energy for what is really needed.

You are going to want to make your calories really count for you. This is why it is kind of a waste to do those cardio workouts. However, if you absolutely must do something you should not do any more than a couple 20 minute cardio workouts in a week. Don't get too intense with them either. You will want to use most of your calories lifting weights.

Probably the most important thing out of all of this is that you have to include a lot of protein and complex carbohydrates in your diet. This will actually contribute to roughly 80% of your success in achieving that ripped Chris Hemsworth physique, so start stocking up on the protein shakes and get to the gym!
