Video games are now a common way of passing time and also a popular hobby. Gaming has advanced into an international activity due to the introduction of the internet and the CS Source server. A good number of online games have come up that suit different tastes and preferences, cutting across gender and age. Counter Strike or CS is one such online game.

Counter-Strike Source servers were programmed in line with another game known as Half Life. This was done by two gentlemen, Minh "Gooseman" Le and Jess "Cliffe" Cliffe under the Valve Corporation. They are the ones who put their ideas together and designed the original version of the CS game. Since then, Counter Strike has evolved into a whole series of games.

The initial Counter Strike was established in 2000 there after Counter Strike Condition Zero which was later advanced in 2003. After the success enjoyed by the first two versions of the game, Counter-Strike Source was released in 2004. Later on Counter Strike Anthology was released and then up till now another launch of Counter Strike Online. Every fresh advancement came with a host of qualities and improvements that comprised of weapons, playing options, modes and game plays. For instance in Counter Strike Zero the quantity of players in a team has been raised to ten.

Counter strike is a difficult and interesting game that entails putting together a team of players playing either as the terrorist or as the counter terrorists. The team should do a way with most of the opposite team as fast as they are executed them. Every player is provided with a desert eagle, M4 and sniper riffle as his armor and major back up. Nevertheless, he can choose his weapons only at the commencement of the game or at each round when they are provided with some freeze time before the game starts. Initiating an assault on the rival's camp is the best way to get this. This is meant to work with the aspect of surprise as it enables you to get your rival unawares. Whenever you are capable of killing each time you shoot you are given an additional monster shot. This earns you bonus points since each player is given individual points. Again, your score is fully dependant on how well you can shoot so your aim has to be carefully calculated.

The game comprises of a sequence of rounds and every round is won by either carrying out the mission or getting rid of the rival army. Because every team has an estimate of eight teammates, when anyone is eliminated they become viewers up to the end of the round. When the existing players finish the round effectively, they are given an option to select new weapons while the ones that were eliminated before the end of the round begin the next with the same weapons they had earlier. They are consequently saved by their teammates when they win the round.
