At some point in our lives we all wish to be part of the action packed lifestyle of the military. It is definitely exciting to be able to visit places around the world and take part in dangerous operations.

Most of us however never get to experience this dream. Call of duty 2 is a game that offers those who are not willing not let go of their fantasy of being part of the action an alternative that is both safe and equally exciting. Much as the training required may not be at the same level as boot camp or the casualties be real, it serves the purpose desired.

The setting for Call for Duty 2 or otherwise known as COD 2 is in World War Two and its design is based on the perspectives of four military personnel. Sergeant John Davis and tank commander David Welsh are two soldiers from the British who were part of these. The other two are Corporal Bill Taylor from the US army and Private Vasili Kosloy from the Red army of the Soviet Union. Each campaign has a different experience to offer nut all are based on the perspectives of these war heroes. You can use the wide variety of weapons and equipment made available for the different campaigns and as per the given map. As is with all great challenges, the battle becomes harder as you advance and it is not easy to win on COD2.

The game can be played by individual gamers or on multiplayer servers where up to sixty four players can be hosted on COD 2 game servers. Players can choose one among the five game plays available on COD 2 for both individual as well as multiplayer options. CTF or Capture The Flag is one among these game plays where the main game plan is to overcome the enemy, capture their flag and bring it home. This game requires speed and caution as well as excellent strategy. Team Death Match is the next game play on Call of Duty 2 servers. The main game plan for this game is to kill all who are in the opposing army. The use of effective force to kill as many of the opposing soldiers as possible is the best trick to use.

Call of Duty 2 hosting also offers three other game plays namely: Death Match, Headquarters and Search and Destroy. It is important o know the maps and the hiding places in all these different game plays. The best strategy for any game is defined by the objective and map given. It is also important to know the rules of the server hosting you so that you can maximize on cheats that are allowed while minimizing on penalties. Gamers are richly entertained by COD 2's ability to combine challenge, surprise, excitement and fun. You can term yourself a war champion once you master the twenty one maps, four campaigns and five game plays.
