Players can play Counter-Strike featuring skins, missions and weapons that when combined create fun and excitement. The presence of the two teams - rescue team and terrorists - pave the way to placing the players in an imaginative and action-packed world. It is similar to what we watch in the movies, only this time, the cast of characters are made of 3D graphics animated by real people. Time turned the original Counter-Strike 1.6 to a new evolution of Counter-Strike Source or the CSS, a more advanced version. For that, ideas for advanced features gave rise to the Counter-Strike Source server. It started out ideally for the current CS fans to experience an evolution of their favorite game. The original server needed some tuning up and the CS Source server was released as a more complete package. This time, it used the Source game engine that enabled enhanced game play. So why then are Counter-Strike Source servers, a.k.a. CSS servers, servers loved by the players? One reason is that the game has leveled up as to its storyline and action. The players still get to be the heroes and the screen still projects a first-person viewpoint. Players are not deprived of the game they got used to and they don't have to read a lot of strategy guides or instructional manuals on how to play. High customization is featured when the game is played through CSS server, making it another reason why the game is still popular. Players can choose from the available game designs and weapon skins in Counter-Strike Source, thanks to the new customization features and add-ons. The players are even given the opportunity to "retexture" the maps.Third, it has better weapons. Players will gain more power and confidence as they choose from new range of weapons. The weapons were made more balanced and precise after careful modifications. Weapons introduced are the Magic Bullet, Nightwalk, Double Barreled Shotgun and others. Also, the game is popular because of its use of ragdoll physics, an animation technology that will generate death sequences. Players will experience ultimate fun as the visual effects have heightened to an almost believable effect. The recoiling of weapons is better and more precise than that of the 1.6 version and the flashbang is now highly upgraded. Added dramatic effect is another reason. With physics embedded in the game, playing the game will create a realistic experience. Drama and natural moves combined has made the game play appear real. Players will decrease accuracy of hitting enemies while moving and shooting. The bullets don't have consistent damage hits if they came from a single gun. The damage depends on how the weapon was fired and the body part that was hit. Reason six includes the simple setting up of the Counter-Strike Source server. The players won't have to play using servers operated by other people again. A player can be a host through a dedicated server option. Through a PC, the player can customize, operate and host the game according to how they want it to be.
