In the event that you are planning out Sunday school lessons to give to children, try to think of ways in which you can involve all of the children in what you are doing. There is a lot of negativity out there these days, and all of it can have a lasting influence on our children. By offering Sunday school to children, they will have a chance to experience Jesus and all of the positivity that comes along with knowing Him.

However, it is not always easy to determine what you should teach your class week after week. Luckily, there are many valuable resources available to you that you can use to help you decide what you would like to teach in your upcoming lessons.

If you have been having trouble trying to come up with new ideas for lessons, it may help if you stop by your church office. In many cases, if you are teaching at a well established church, you will find that they actually have a great deal of resources that you can use to make your weekly lessons. It wouldn't hurt to ask the staff members of your church, or even the pastor for some bright ideas regarding materials for your Sunday school lessons. You could even ask around and see what the other teaches are planning to do.

You could also get some good ideas for class topics from whatever sermon your pastor is going to be giving in church that week. A lot of kids don't pay such close attention to what the pastor is saying throughout the sermon, so you have a perfect chance to back up what the pastor has said by talking about it again during your lesson. You may even want to take some notes during service and jot down the main points of what the pastor is trying to get across through his sermon. This way you can have a look at your notes later on and use what you have written down to make up class lessons.

There are actually several ways in which you could go about coming up with lessons to teach the kids. The Word of God can be taught through many different games, and the kids will have fun playing them during class.

For example, you could try playing a quiz game with the kids, where you have them all try to answer various questions regarding all of the lessons that you have previously taught throughout your classes. You could give a small but exciting little prize to the student who answers the most questions correctly by the end of the game.

The best thing you can do is to always try to think of different ways to get the students involved and interested in the classes. Try to keep things as fun and lighthearted as possible, so that the kids will get excited about their own spiritual development.

Remember that any time you invest in your Sunday school lessons will be well worth it, as the children of today are going to be the heroes of tomorrow!
