Computing as we know it today has two very important ingredients that are networks and datacenters. Once you connect various computing resources through some specific protocols you create a network that enables users on the same network to share resources. On the other hand, datacenters simply are hub of computer systems and facilities. The datacenter is where resources for distribution through the internet or any alternative network are hosted. This therefore shows the close relationship between the two. A network is meant to help in the distribution of computing resources while the datacenter is a point of storage for these computing resources. Offices, campuses, and other types of branches that belong to businesses and institutions can be connected in this manner.
