Bringing packages from outside your own country might not be the best choice. If you do, it is highly probable that the money saved from production will be spent in transportation, customs taxes, etc. Logistics represent a big chunk of your budget and you should not increase it as a result of a bad decision. By choosing local companies to produce your packaging you are securing your company with a fast and continuous provision while helping local businesses. 4) Green standards: With today's environmental conditions, it is our obligation to think and act green. Being a company that uses green technology is not necessarily an expensive task, you can even attract more people to your product by doing so. A few countries have already begun applying additional taxes to those companies that do not meet eco-friendly packaging standards. Some are even giving easier permits and publicity to those companies that meet their requirements, so trying to be green is a very good idea. It is only a matter of time before most countries begin to demand stricter eco-friendly measures. Furthermore, having a green company profile will attract more customers to your product. The art of wine making is not simple, and neither is the art of packaging. The variables mentioned above are a small portion of the whole process. Consulting professionals in the field, asking for estimates and having the right design for your package are some other things you should discuss before making any decision.
