If you go ahead and get your own domain along with a reputable paid hosting service, you will be highly likely to get a lot more people willing to sign up for your email list. One of the most important things that you have to know regarding how to build an email list is how you can add an opt-in form on your page. It is basically just a code that you can strategically embed within your page in order to generate a form for people to enter in their information. Of course, there are forms out there that you can get at no cost, but the functionality of the forms that you can purchase will be so much better. Once you have built a list, you will need t be able to effectively manage it. The best way for you to manage your list is through an auto-responder service. With a good auto-responder, you will save yourself a lot of time and hassle, as it will take on a good portion of the work for you. An auto-responder will be able to reply to your subscribers automatically, and you can also have the ability to schedule certain emails to go out to your list at certain times. You can find some autoresponders that won't cost you anything, but the problem is that when you use the free services your emails will be highly likely to end up in the spam folders of all your subscribers. If you go with a more professional service, they can encode your emails in such a way that they will always reach the actual inbox of your subscribers. The most important thing is to continue providing your subscribers with unique and fresh content. Send them content that they will actually find value in and enjoy reading, or else they will just opt-out of your list and you will lose them. Learning how to build an email list is important, but so is learning how to keep your subscribers once you get them.
