Fact is, there is always a percentage of uncertainty or a suspicion in these types of tests easily available. The only test that can ascertain this is an autopsy, and such test is carried out only if a person is dead. Now, necessary to diagnose this disease in the earlier stages - the faster, the better! The doctors or specialists might take all or some of these tests. Your individual needs, medication and care would differ depending on the severity of the Alzheimer's. A lot of research is currently being carried out to improve on the medications. Doctors and specialist also need to speed up the process of identifying and diagnosing the patient with Alzheimer's. More attention is given to the treatment of Alzheimer's since there is no cure for this disease. Research is still being conducted in to advancing medications in the hope that they may find a way of drastically improving the symptoms of Alzheimer's. As of yet there is no identified cure for this condition, this makes treatment much more important. There are many organizations that help the families of people with Alzheimer's.
