Everyone who has a yard and a garden needs some iris bulbs somewhere in their yard. They are a classic perennial that does well in most conditions and are pretty easy to grow and multiply. There are several different kinds of iris bulbs for sale. Bearded iris is often the most popular kind because of the large and bellowing blooms. There are also Siberian iris, Dutch, dwarf, and other mixes available. Siberian iris has smaller and skinnier blooms, but can be quite lovely. All of these different iris bulbs for sale come in a wide range of colors as well. Traditional colors are blue and purple, but you can also purchase yellow, black, orange, white, and pink.

The first thing to decide when added these beautiful bulbs to your garden is placement. You must take into account the mature height of the plants. They can grow typically to about two to four feet tall, so placement in the back or middle is a good idea so that the shorter plants in the front can be seen well.

After a few years, they can fill in a flower be quite nicely and you may have enough to move to other places in the yard. You can also give some to the neighbors, they are sure to love you for it.

They need time to become established over winter. Also, they need an early start if you want them to bloom that year.
