There is nothing like waking up on a bright morning, pouring a mug of coffee or cup of tea and stepping out onto the porch to view the morning sun reflecting off the water. After the constant grind of the past months between work and just daily living, it's wonderful to get away. Cottage rentals pull people away from all that hustle and slows things down a bit. A little home away from home. Whether on the beach, overlooking snow-capped mountains or set up on a lazy lake full of fish, cottages can be found just about anywhere. There is nothing like sitting on a porch and watching the waves roll in or curling up in front of a crackling fire while a quiet snow blankets the ground outside. So many people work so hard each and every day, and deserve a well earned reprieve. A vacation is just the ticket. The problem is, in staying at a hotel, it really doesn't feel like a getaway. There are so many people all around. Above and below their room and right next door. Loud dining rooms and general areas. To hear the thumps, alarm clocks and talking of others when all that is really wanted is silence, just doesn't work. A cottage rental is a wonderful alternative, offering an individual "home" that keeps that all at bay. They are easily found. Jump online and type it in and a whole listing will come up. Or, contact a travel agents and they will also have many to choose from. There are listing services, agencies and management companies that all offer assistance in finding just the right place. The biggest question will be where to go. They range in style and size, as well as their location. If a getaway with the guys for some fishing is what works, there's a cottage for that. Some have enough to sleep 8. Maybe it's a second honeymoon. I quiet little cottage nestled in the woods, overlooking a glassy lake will definitely set the mood. No matter what a vacationer is looking for, there is definitely something out there they will enjoy. For most, vacations and getaways are not a monthly, or even a quarterly experience. That is why rentals are so wonderful. They offer the opportunity for a wonderful place to stay that doesn't bring the monthly costs and upkeep a separate home would. With renting, it is just the cost of the stay. Even timeshares require more, making rentals all that more appealing. Some wonder about how clean they may be, or if what is advertised is what is actually received. Not to worry. In dealing with the owner or management company directly, they can address each concern to put all at ease. Most have sites that have testimonials, as well. More space, more amenities, great locations, and much more privacy all make cottage rentals worth a look. Get more for the money spent, and enjoy the time away. A home away from home is just what is needed to unwind from a hectic life.
