When staff are demotivated and feel like they are taken for granted, it shows in their work performance.This may not necessarily be done on purpose, but the importance of acknowledge, should never be underestimated. Everything that you do in life starts off as a thought, which turns into words and then action.It is the natural cycle of life. So it is in the best interest of the manager and the company to show staff the appreciation they deserve. It will also help performance to either remain stable or become better. When people feel they are needed, they will perform like there is no tomorrow. Motivational speakers can do a great job, getting people to think positively, but that is as far as they can go. The rest is up to the employer. Staff need to be show thanks an gratitude. It is something that all human beings thrive on. An employees performance at work can be judged on this basis. So you can see the amount of appreciation a staff member gets from how well they perform at their jobs. Inspirational speakers are the best people to train managers on how to motivate their staff. They can teach them how to carry themselves and how to relate to their staff more effectively and beneficially. This is the greatest step a boss can take toward the success of his company.
