In the county of Cambridgeshire is a cathedral city called Peterborough It is a fast growing city from a population of just over 53,000 in the 1950s to three times that number in 2001. It is well known for its rich culture and historical attractions. The Peterborough Museum and Art Gallery and the Thorney Heritage Museum are among them. This town has something for everyone, it isn't only for the history buffs. Enjoying cocktails or local beers at clubs in Peterborough like Halo or Liquid Night Club are activities for the fun loving party people. While those who are into ballet or concerts can either go to The Key Theatre or The Cresset Theatre for some drama. There are places in the city for the sports enthusiasts. They can go to Thorpe Wood Golf Course to hit the range. It is a city where a lot can be seen and offers so much. The wealth of its history and wide array of restaurants attract tourists to Peterborough From the comforts of a pub up to fine dining is the range of the Peterborough restaurants. Dark chocolate pudding, spice filled salsa and curry are only three among the hundreds, even thousands of different food there are in Peterborough. With almost a hundred restaurants to choose from, you will definitely be able to find one you like. The different people from different cultures bring in the many different food that you can choose from in this city. In the United Kingdom, most Italians are found living in Peterborough and Pakistani and Indian nationals come here too. Peterborough restaurants are said to have the best authentic Italian dishes served by the nationals from the south of Italy. The Indians and Pakistanis brought their culture and food with them to Peterborough which is why there are a lot of Indian restaurants now. It is hard to pinpoint which Indian restaurant is the best in Peterborough. Indian Restaurants also vary within themselves. Some are more authentic and unfamiliar to most of us while some are the westernized kind that we know of and have tried.
