The most common reasons for such water accumulation in the house are rainwater (in form of flood), river water, sea water, broken pipes, leaked faucets, cracks on rooftop, backed up bathroom, sewage system, overflowing sinks, broken washing machines and more. These microbes can simply get carried to the other rooms and hence, people need to take care of that.
