Buy wind turbine technology now before it is too late. The world is running out of the resources we consume to make electricity. That is a fact. Whether it is short-term, as the Left says OR, it is long-term, as the Right says, the unfortunate thing here is that the natural resources that we have used to build our society are depleting rapidly. Perhaps the oil field depletion timeline is a good one to use to explain what I am saying. Gigantic oil fields like we count on in the Middle East have about a 40-50 year lifespan. In the first few years, there is oil everywhere. Then, as time passes, it becomes more and more difficult to get the oil out and they start having to inject salt water underground to get the huge quantities everyone demands. Eventually, as it becomes increasingly difficult, production just DIES. It doesn't taper off - it just drops to zero almost instantly. Most of the monster wells were discovered 40-50 years ago, right after WWII when the Middle East came into its own. We don't get a whole lot of clear intelligence out of the big oil companies on this, (largely because THEY don't know), but Saudi Arabian oil fields are dangerously close to drying up. That means that we must have another way to power our laptops. That is why we have to get serious about our renewables and buy wind turbine technology now, before it is too late. We really need to realize our elected officials only want to tell us the good news. They know this is coming but they can't bring themselves to be proactive and tell us the news so we can prepare ourselves. Although prices are high for home windmills now, buying them is our best hedge against the coming fossil fuels draught. We know all this intuitively but it is just difficult to be the first one on your blocks to do anything. Keep in mind though that relatively speaking, windmills are a bargain, even at the high prices we are now seeing. The reason I say this is wind turbines pay for themselves. Wind turbine costs will most certainly come down as more and more people buy them, but we can't afford to wait for that to happen. There won't be any power left, or what will be left will be outrageously expensive. Buy wind turbine technology now to protect your energy consuming lifestyle for the future.
