Change is a part of every organization. These changes are fast and hence, it is very essential for an organization to adapt to those changes to stay in competition. However, sustaining these changes is not easy. This is because of the fact that people (employees of the business) have their own comfort zone and they do not really prefer to come out of that. ® How exactly will you find out whether the modifications have been achieved or not?

® Which segment of people will be affected by these modifications?

® How will those people react to these modifications?

® How much of these modifications are achievable on your own?

® What are the components of these modifications which will need additional help or assistance?

Once these questions are answered properly, you will be able to initialize the modifications. The factors mentioned above are actually associated with how you handle personal as well as organizational change.

Modifications in general very upsetting and hence, it is essential to manage and resolve those changes.

So, if you are planning a modification, ensure that the individuals who will be affected by the modification hold the same opinion as you and that they recognize that the modification is necessary and at the same time, they get the opportunity to settle on or speak about how the modification will be carried out and in the process, they get involved in the overall execution of the modification or change that you have planned. Communicate properly with every involved individual personally and take care of all the sensitive features pertaining to change management of an organization. It is very essential that you provide your managers with the necessary confidence so that they can in turn manage and deal with the reactions of their groups. This is a big time help when it comes to dealing with any organizational modifications. Remember that "in person" communication is far better that the written notices and electronic mails.
