Novelty life size cutouts are some of the most popular decorations for kids of all ages. They are used to decorate parties and rooms for the children. These decorations come in varied sizes and designs and your child can even be involved in making their own. If your child wants one of these decors you have the option of either purchasing one from the stores or helping them to design one of their choices. The internet has many types of these decorations. Your child can pick one of their favourite celebrity or super heroes and you can place an order so that it will be delivered right to your doorstep. Alternatively, you can choose to make original decorations with your child. This is the cheapest way of acquiring these decors as it will save on purchase and transportation costs. You will need to come up with a list of requirements needed for this craftwork. After you have gathered all these materials you will need to select a good photograph that will be pasted onto the board to come up with your decoration. This can be found in good magazines and varied stores. It will all depend on the type of photograph that you are looking for. Most of the children prefer to have animals or celebrities especially the superheroes of their choice. Some children will want special family members or even friends on the boards. It is important to decide which photos you want placed on the craft you intend to make. You can choose to use a family photo or the photo of an animal or a celebrity that your child likes. If you are going to take the photo yourself then it is necessary to use a good camera with high mega pixels. This will ensure that the picture is clearer and of higher quality. This might necessitate you to take fresh photographs by yourself. You will need a good camera which has huge mega pixels so that you can come up with a clear photograph. Once the photograph is taken you can take it to an expert who will edit it using Photoshop or any other software. The edited photo will then be zoomed in in order to enlarge it. This can be really big or just average size depending on your preference. You can also choose to add captions of people speaking on the photo. This is however optional. The enlarged photo will then be printed out and the copy used on the board. While you can print the photo from home, this is only advisable if you have a really good printer which will not have any lines appear on the picture. After the board has been cut according to the image shape you can then paste the image onto it using the adhesive and the cotton pads. You will wait for it to dry and stick properly before you can place the board on its stand. This will then be displayed in your child's room or party. A life size cardboard cutout is a beautiful decorations and when made from home they give children a great satisfaction. If you do not have the time to make one from home then you can just take the photos you need to a photo-shop which specializes in making custom made decorations.
