The term boutique hotel first came into play in the 1980s and was first popular in North America. When you begin your search you should be able to find a site that allows you to search by set criteria's such as town or dates. When it shows you a list of hotels that are applicable you should be able to look at descriptions of services available as well as being able to see pictures of the accommodation available. This should give you a firm idea of what you get for your budget and whether or not it is somewhere that you would like to stay. Remember that although it is mainly a case of getting what you pay for, there are ways in which you can get a bargain and a hotel that is both within your budget and able to offer you the luxurious stay that you need
