Having a Pirate theme party will be the ultimate adventure and the addition of Pirate party games will add to the event. the best way to encourage children to play is the prospect of party favors to be had. Pirates love loot, it was what they lived for, so giving pirates winnings after party games is recommended.

Cross the Plank: This classic game simliar to Walk the Plank is ideal for guests of all ages and can be played using boards or balance beams. Blindfold each Pirate Party Supplies and have them attempt to walk the plank without falling over to their demise.

Pirate Treasure Hunt. Pirate Treasure Hunt is a fun game that can be played by all pirates. The object of the game is to find the treasure (drawn or printed on a map of the party area) before the pirates leave the party. At the beginning of the game, give the pirates a map of the party area with possible locations of the treasure.To begin the game all of the young pirates at the party are given a map of the location and sent off to find their buried treasures. Finding the treasure will not be as easy as one might think.

Gabion Basket Relay Race. A gabion basket in the era of the pirates was a cylindrical wicker basket filled with earth and stones, used in building fortifications. For the purposes of this game, use a wicker baskets filled with various fruits, vegetables and other party items. Spilt the teams into two pirate factions and the game can begin. On go, one pirate from each team runs to one area of the party with all the fruits and other pirate loot and places it in the gabion basket. The players must race back to their pirate teammates must take the basket and walk the plank as fast as possible. After the teammate has gone across the plank they must remove the fruits and pirate things from the basket and put them in their first location. That teammate races back and tags their pirate teammate and that pirate runs with the basket and places the items back in the basket. The winning team is the first team that finishes the course and still has their teammates.

Cannon Ball Blast. Cannon Ball Blast is a fun game that requires two teams of pirates pitted against each other separate the pirates behind barriers and various objects on opposite sides of the outdoor party area. Give each team equal number of black balloons with water (cannon balls). The winning team is determined by who is the least wet after all the water balloons have been thrown.
