It is better to look at changes as an investment in the future of the pub. Whilst modern furniture can cost a lot of money, it will attract more customers. People will talk with their friends and family. Word of mouth travels very quickly in business. Pub business is a competitive market. A landlady needs to do everything they can to bring in customers. Pub furniture should provide a level of comfort for the customer. They want to sit down and relax whilst enjoying a drink.
